Who

I’m Isaac. I've spent the last six years deep in the world of 3D printing. This has led me into a career as a mechanical design engineer working in consumer product development. But as I’ve worked in traditional manufacturing, I’ve never stopped feeling that 3D printing is being underutilized.

This is my way of exploring its potential.

What

We create things designed with care and engineered with obsession. We use 3D printing not as a novelty or trend, but as a way to rethink how things can be done better.

Why

Teak exists as a counterpoint to today's consumer electronics—products that feel lifeless, disposable, and far removed from the people who use them. Identical objects produced by the thousands in places we’ll never go, by people we’ll never know, reinforcing a culture that undervalues longevity, repairability, creativity, and environmental responsibility.

Our goal is to make things more aligned with humans' innate desire for understanding and connecting with the physical world.
